BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Willits Center for the Arts is a vibrant place serving the community because of the talents and energy coming from our volunteers.  We are always looking for new members to join our team of volunteers. Training will be provided. We especially have needs in the following areas:

• Gallery Hosts sit the current exhibit in the gallery, signing up for 3 hour shifts. Hosts are the friendly face visitors see when they enter WCA.  Gallery Hosts answer questions and make sales.

• Hospitality Volunteers help make WCA events run smoothly, from setting up, manning information tables, serving food and drinks, to cleaning up afterwards.

• Gallery Preparation Volunteers set up the facility for the next exciting shows.  They work with the manager and curator to paint walls, set up pedestals, prepare labels for the artwork, etc.

We also need volunteers for tasks that happen infrequently, such as landscaping or building maintenance projects.
