Grateful for the outstanding hand-me-down camera equipment from my spouse, it has been a strong motivator for incorporating photography into my art. This medium has been an integral tool for my sketch book, recording the intriguing forms and textures in the natural world that drive my ceramic art.

However, sometimes this camera is simply celebrating my view, from family events to rare Super Moons. Seasonal changes and colorful wildflowers compete as favorites with the fascinating sculptural forms of weathered wood. The photos submitted for this exhibition reflect my life at Cinnamon Bear Farm and our farm partners’ home at Mariposa Ranch.
