Join us in person in the Great Room
Join us for a collaboration of iconic imagery at the Willits Center for the Arts in February. The front gallery will feature Sue Ellen Parkinson's acrylic paintings, which focus on her interpretation of the Sacred Feminine. The south gallery will show the work of nine of Sue Ellen's students' meditative and personal “SoulCollages”. Join the artists on opening night from 6 to 8pm, Saturday February 1 with small bites and beverages. The exhibit will run through Sunday February 23.
Willits Center for the Arts presents Therian Dreams, offering the atmospheric and provocative prints and sculpture of coastal artist Robert Spies, and Ink'd In, a group printmaking exhibit featuring a wide array of techniques from eight printmakers, ranging from the traditional Japanese-style woodblock prints of Walter Padgett to the whimsical and colorful Gelli Prints of Ukiah artist Darrell Carpenter and lots more. The show opens on Saturday March 1 from 6-8pm, with sweet & savory nibbles and beverages. In addition we invite you to enjoy an exciting wood block printing demo by Walter Padgett, and an Art Talk by Robert Spies. The exhibit runs through Sunday March 26.
